Originally conceived during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Giro d'Birra is a 21 stage brewery tour held concurrently to the 23 days of the Giro d'Italia. The initial intent was to break the monotony of quarantine and breweries were one of the few places open. The 'Giro' became a highlight of 2020.

At its core, the 'Giro' is an excuse. An excuse to slow down and ride with friends. An excuse to go after a segment just because. An excuse to find new roads. An excuse to take the long way home. An excuse to drink good beer (well maybe that one doesn't require an excuse).  

Some stages are short, some long, some easy, some hard. Each day a different brewery. Each route unique. At the end, riders have explored new roads, tried new beers, and shared great memories.
